TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local sorority works overtime to give back to kids in need.

The ladies of TriDelta Sorority at Rose-Hulman hold their annual Teeter-Totter-A-Thon.

It's to raise money for Riley Hospital for Children.

Members of TriDelta teeter-tottered for 24 hours, beginning Friday evening and finishing up Saturday evening.

It took place at Terre Haute's south Kroger.

This is one of three big fundraisers they hold throughout the year.

"This one is for Riley specifically which we like and it gets us out in the community out in Terre Haute. So, people can know us and see what we do," TriDelta Philanthropy Chair Cassie Cox said.

The event has been a tradition for 15 years now.

They hope to raise at least $2,500.
