TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Folks from all across Indiana came to Terre Haute Saturday, to support a cause close to our community's heart.

Harsha Behavioral Center hosted their second annual charity coed softball tournament.

It's in honor of Officer Brent Long and Shadow.

The proceeds will benefit Terre Haute Police Department's K-9 Unit.

The day also included a raffle, door prizes, a drawing, and a canine demonstration.

"It's not an average softball tournament. This is gonna benefit the Terre Haute Police Department canine unit and everybody's here today playing in honor of Brent Long of course, what he meant to this community and that's why we're here," Harsha Behavioral Center Director of Marketing Beau Battin said.

16 teams participated.

Around 40 local businesses donated to show their support.
