TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A new facility opens its doors here in the Wabash Valley to give women hope.
Next Step Foundation is the first sober living facility for women in the area.
It recently opened in the former Harvest Prayer Ministries at the corner of 6th and Washington Streets in Terre Haute.
"It's been a powerful experience to come to an all female living environment and bonding with women and starting to rebuild their life by finding jobs and walking a path of sober living," Next Step Foundation Ron Simons said.
Organizers hope to eventually expand their program to provide financial education, arts and crafts, and counseling.
