SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. (WTHI) - Visitors to a local farm got the chance to get up close and personal with a unique animal.
Friday through Sunday was National Alpaca Farm Days.
The White Violet Center at St. Mary of the Woods hosted an event that allowed visitors to interact with the alpacas.
Visitors could fee the animals and take part in several other activities.
Organizers said it was a great learning experience.
