TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The next time you go to the Vigo County Public library, expect a change.
Last week, the staff introduced self check-out devices.
It's a machine that lets people check out their own materials.
Library staffers say the machines will let workers focus on other library needs.
Workers say they're getting positive feedback on the equipment.
"Our feedback's been pretty positive. Our initial concern was that maybe staff members wouldn't be as available, but obviously we are keeping the floor fully staffed, so there is a lot of interaction available still," said a VCPL employee.
The library also has a new module to make returns more convenient.
