Scholarship planned to honor fallen officers

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A memorial scholarship fund is in the works to honor Officer Brent Long and other fallen officers.

Officer Long's family is working with Indiana State University to establish a fund that will help students majoring in criminology.

They are looking for corporate sponsors and others to donate to the fund. They hope to raise $20,000 by October.
