TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Wabash Valley leader is recognized Tuesday afternoon for her involvement in our community.

The Terre Haute Rotary Club gave the Wabash Valley Community Foundation's Beth Tevlin this year's Vocational Service Award for more than 20 years of hard work.

Tevlin led the growth of the foundation, which now has nearly $40 million in assets.

Folks from the Rotary Club got together Tuesday for a luncheon at the Holiday Inn to honor her.

"There are a lot of people in Rotary who are businessmen and women who I intensely respect for their acumen and for their demeanor and their work here for our community, and its very humbling to have them present this award to me," Wabash Valley Community Foundation Executive Director Beth Tevlin said.

The Terre Haute Rotary Club will celebrate its 100th Anniversary next September.
