Reward fund set up for homicide case

SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTHI) - We have new information tonight into a Sullivan County homicide. Authorities found 85 year old Lowell Badger dead in his home last Saturday, December 7th.

Investigators say Badger died from a gunshot wound. As police continue to investigate his death, his friends ask the community for help finding closure.

Indiana state police are now looking for a television that was stolen from Badger's home the night his son found him dead.
    
The TV is a black 46-inch Sony Bravia LCD television. It was one of several pieces of electronics were taken from Badger's home. 
    
Now, Members of the Sullivan County Credit Union board are also joining the hunt for clues. Badger had been a member of the credit union board.
    
This week they set up a reward fund for anyone who can offer information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
    
Those that knew Lowell Badger the best say any information won't just help the case, it will give the community closure.

"Its' gonna give those who cared so much about the badger family an opportunity to participate in trying to come up with a form of information and closure to more or less give us some peace and rest,” Randy Pigg, a member of the Sullivan County Credit Union board said.
