TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - One local charity organization has started adding up the proceeds from a recent event in Terre Haute.
The United Way of the Wabash Valley teamed up with Baeslar’s Market for the United Day for the United Way event.
Volunteers with the United Way worked with Baeslar’s employees to help bag groceries and pump gas for tips, which were applied to contribution fund for the event.
So far, before adding up the numbers from the Dine Untied event, the organization managed to raise $18,200.
Those funds will be used for the local community events.
The Dine United numbers are expected to be added up later this week.
The United Way of the Wabash Valley would like to thank all who donated and participated in the event.
