Powerball jackpot reaches record high

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - This week's record high Powerball jackpot lures many to buy a ticket, in hopes of striking it big.

The Powerball Jackpot is up to $425 million, the largest jackpot ever for the game.

500 Express in Terre Haute say once jackpots hit $100 million, more customers start buying tickets.

Monday, employees saw buying them left and right.

500 Express says Powerball is its most popular game.
