TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Local law enforcement agencies have been getting drugs off the streets and now they're getting them out of your homes.
Indiana State Police and other agencies are hosting another prescription drug take back day.
On September 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., officials will be collecting drugs that are unwanted or expired.
Giving the drugs to police keeps them out of the hands of children and others.
State agencies collected more than 1,500 pounds of unwanted medicines during Indiana's last drug take-back in April.
For more information, head to the Indiana State Police website .
