PARIS, Ill. (WTHI) - October is breast cancer awareness month, and folks at Pumpkin Works are bringing pink to the patch.
The Paris, Illinois business has many cancer survivors on staff, and wanted to do their part.
“So, we kinda thought we’d try to get behind a good program and so we planted them and we’ll see what happens,” Pumpkin Works Paul Staley said.
Ten cents on every pound sold will be donated to the Edgar County Relay for Life.
To get your hands on these pink gourds, you can find Pumpkin Works between Terre Haute and Paris on East Terre Haute road.
