BRAZIL, Ind. (WTHI) - UPDATE: Vigo County Coroner Dr. Roland Kohr has confirmed to News 10 the driver of the car was
26-year-old Benjamin Chiddister. Kohr said he died of blunt force trauma to the head and chest.
Chiddister is also being called a person of interest in the death of 21-month-old Sylus Eder.
Kohr said the baby died of blunt force trauma to the skull.
News 10 is attending a 2 p.m. press conference at the Terre Haute Police Department to get more information.
A car crashes into a house in Vigo County, Indiana.
News 10 has confirmed that the driver in that crash is a person of interest in the death investigation of an infant in Terre Haute.
The crash happened just before 7:00 Sunday night at 9611 North Miami Gardens Road in eastern Vigo County. The home has a Brazil address, which is normally thought of as being in Clay County.
Police say a man was driving too fast around a corner, drove into the driveway, hit a stone wall, causing his car to flip into the garage.
Police tell News 10 the driver died at the scene.
