SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - One person is dead after an early morning accident in Sullivan County.

Just before 1:00 Thursday morning, the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department was called to the one vehicle crash on County Road 100 East near the intersection of County Road 500 north.

Police tell News 10 that both people in the vehicle were ejected, and were taken by helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital with severe injuries.

One of the two has died from those injuries.

No names have been released, and an investigation continues.

Police do believe high speed was a factor.
