ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTHI) - Despite the heat, the Parke County fairgrounds was full of folks ready to enjoy the fair.

The 92nd Annual Parke County Fair is well underway.

The Midway also opens tonight. For $20, it's unlimited rides all evening.

Tuesday was highlighted by the swine show, in which a large number of 4-H'ers participate.

Several animal shows will take place this week, always a big draw for the fair.

"All the kids like animals it's fun to watch and see the various breeds and various types of whatever it might be that's out here and it gives everyone a chance to enjoy the fair and the 4-h and the animals that goes along with it," said Jeff Pell, Parke County Extension Agent.

The Parke County Fair runs through Saturday.
