VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A mother, father and grandmother all behind bars.
A family is arrested for allegedly cooking methamphetamine with two toddlers in their home.
The arrests of the parents, grandmother and a family friend ended in 19 criminal charges.
Police went to serve Terry Baugh Junior a federal warrant for theft, when they arrived at his home they say they found him committing another crime.
Police said Baugh Junior was cooking meth when they arrived.
Police said he had an active meth lab in his garage at his home on Old Royse Road in Terre Haute.
Baugh's 2-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son were in the home at the time.
State police arrested Baugh, his wife Brittany and his mother, Teresa Chapman along with a friend, Robert Chlebowski.
Police say the fact toddlers were exposed to the meth lab and the arrests is a sad example of how meth can affect families.
"It just goes to show you this is a frightful drug, it can wreak havoc in the area it can wreak havoc in families," Indiana State Police Sergeant Joe Watts said.
The children were taken out of the home and are now safe with a family member.
Meanwhile, their father, Terry Baugh Junior is facing 10 felony counts on various methamphetamine charges as well as two counts of neglect of a dependent.
His wife Brittany is facing three felonies, two of which are for neglect of a dependent.
Terry's mother Teresa faces those same charges.
