REELSVILLE, Ind. (WTHI) - UPDATE:
According to the ISP, the driver of the motorcycle was identified as 28 year old David L. Godsey of Brazil, Ind.
The female passenger was identified as 25 year old Jolene D. McCall of Terre Haute.
Toxicology reports are pending and Godfrey did not have a valid Indiana driver's license.

One person is dead after a police chase involving a motorcycle.
It all started around 10:00 Tuesday night when Brazil police attempted to pull over a motorcyclist for speeding.
The driver refused to stop and continued east on US 40.
Clay County Sheriff's officers joined in the pursuit with speeds reaching 100 miles an hour.
Putnam County officers as well as Indiana State Police were contacted to assist.
Police say the male driver of the motorcycle lost control in Reelsville near County Road 625 West, striking a pipe culvert.
The driver died at the scene.
A female passenger was airlifted from the scene, and is in critical condition at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
