SHELBURN, Ind. (WTHI) - We don’t have a lot of details right now; however, News 10 has confirmed, for unknown reasons at this time, a train has struck and killed a pedestrian in Shelburn, Indiana.
Sunday afternoon, around 1:00 p.m., Indiana State Trooper Brent Robinson responded to the CSX railroad crossing on Mill Street in Shelburn, IN.
The pedestrian has been identified as Goldie L. Cummins, 68, of Shelburn.
Cummins was pronounced dead at the scene by the Sullivan County Deputy Coroner Rick Weaver.
Cummins' family has been notified.
The case is still under investigation.
