GREENE CO., Ind. (WTHI) - One man is dead from a motorcycle accident after the bike left the roadway and crashed.

Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a single vehicle accident with injuries on Chapel Rd., which is east of Edwards Rd. at 12:37 a.m. Saturday.

The initial investigation revealed that Brian J. Neal, 43, of Bloomington, Ind. was riding his motorcycle west on Chapel Rd., when, for unknown reasons, his motorcycle left the roadway.

The bike traveled off the south side of the roadway, down an embankment and crashed.

Neal was pronounced dead at the scene, and an investigation is ongoing.

Assisting the Greene County Sheriff’s Department was Eastern Fire Department, Greene County Ambulance Service, Van Buren Township Fire Department and the Indiana State Police.
