TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - An annual festival came back to Fairbanks Park this evening to enjoy some music.

Saturday afternoon, seven bands played in the second annual On the Banks of the Wabash Community Band festival.

The festival was held all afternoon and into the evening hours at the park.

Bands from Illinois and Indiana joined together for today's celebration.

Because of today's extreme heat, the festival also set up tents around the park for some shady areas.

A misting station was also set up in the park to help cool everyone off.
