TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A touch of Germany will soon hit the streets of downtown Terre Haute.

Terre Haute's German Oberlander Club will host Oktoberfest starting tomorrow.

Organizers say this is the event's 40 year anniversary.

They say it's a great time for everyone, including families.

Ray Weber, President of Terre Haute’s German Club says, "We got a little bit left to go, we'll be working late in the evening. We've got table and chairs, the food line still needs to be done, some decorating left to do and the stage has to be set up yet. A lot of work yet to do."

Oktoberfest starts tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. at the Clabber Girl Festival Marketplace.

The fest runs until Saturday located at 9th and Cherry Streets in Terre Haute.
