TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Two Indiana lawmakers spent today talking to students about Indiana's new Lifeline law.
Lawmakers enacted the law in July.
It protects underage drinkers from arrest, but gets them medical help if they've had too much.
Attorney General Greg Zoeller and State Senator Jim Merritt talked to students at Indiana State University Monday afternoon.
Lawmakers say it's important for students to know their rights.
