New Year's resolutions in Wabash Valley

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - It's that time of year again.

As we wrap up 2012 and kick of 2013, News 10 found out what a few of you are planning for your New Year's resolutions.

"It's usually to lose weight and exercise more, but, since that didn't work, I thought I'd change it," Mike Higar said.

Whether your New Year's resolution is ordinary or something strange, it's a tradition many like to join in on.

"Have self control and be a better father," Higar said.

"My New Year's resolution would be just to lose a little more weight and keep up my walking every day. It's not hard. It's just I don't run, I just walk and it helps," Margaret White said.

"My New Year's resolution is getting better grades in school and hope I pass 5th grade," Brandon Hoopingarner said.

"I'm actually a senior in college, so hopefully to graduate this year," Leon Lewis said.

It's a mixed bag for 2013, but many people are setting goals to make it a great year.

"My New year's resolution is to spend more time with family and friends and everyone get along and just spend more time with each other," RoseAnn Lee said.

Some folks we spoke to said they haven't made up their mind yet on their resolution.

Others aren't planning to have one.
