TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A new service club is starting up in Terre Haute.
Tuesday night will be the first meeting of the soon to be named Ryves Optimist Club.
The driving force behind the new club saw a need after working with youth at Ryves Hall.
Now, he hopes this club will be able to raise money and do other projects to fill that need.
"The one thing different about this optimist club that some of the other optimist clubs or other clubs in general, some are more social organizations or weekly meetings or whatever but this is a group that will meet basically monthly.. have ideas, set projects and complete activities," said Dennis Bialaszewski.
The first meeting of the group will be Tuesday night at 6:30 in Ryves Hall. Anyone is welcome to attend.
