New residence hall coming to Indiana State University

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A new $21 million housing complex coming to the campus of Indiana State University.
Ground was broken Thursday afternoon on the new facility that will feature four stories of eight small group housing units.
The North Residence Hall is designed to accommodate a total of 352 students.
ISU said they continue to improve housing on campus and this project is well worth the wait.
"Oh, we're very excited as you can tell by the groups of students behind me that this is a rally wonderful opportunity,” said Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications Tara Singer. “This is the first new residence hall being built at Indiana State University in more than forty years."
Construction is expected to wrap up in April 2014, with students moving into the facility in August.
