Murder case moves forward against IL teen

PARIS, Ill. (WTHI) - A judge ruled there is probable cause for murder charges against an Illinois teenager.
Terry Payton, 16, faces two counts of murder in the stabbing death of his mother Kathie Payton.
Evidence was presented on Monday to a judge, who ruled there was enough to support the charges of murder.
Payton entered a plea of not guilty and requested a jury trial.
His trial is scheduled to begin September 19.
