SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTHI) - One man is recovering Sunday night after suffering from injuries that were a result of a motorcycle accident earlier in the day.
It happened just after noon in Sullivan County.
Police said 27-year-old Jay Wardlow was riding his motorcycle north on Section Street in Sullivan.
They said a vehicle was stopped at a nearby cross street.
When the vehicle began moving, Wardlow’s motorcycle, for unknown reasons at this time, collided with vehicle.
Police said he suffered leg injuries and was taken to a Sullivan area hospital.
From there, he had to be airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital for further treatment.
His condition is unknown at this time.
News 10 will have more information as it becomes available.
