VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - One person was taken to an area hospital after a vehicle rear ended a scooter Monday night.
Emergency Response crews responded to a call to dispatch about an accident with injuries involving a scooter and a car. The scene was located at the intersection of Robinson Road and Illiana in Vigo County.
According to witnesses at the scene, the scooter was without tail lights, which made it hard for the driver of the car to see..
The driver of the car then struck the back of the scooter, injuring the scooter driver.
The scooter driver was taken to Union Hospital. His injuries were not life threatening.
