The 4-year-old boy who went missing on Tuesday from Terre Haute has been found safe and sound in Kentucky.

Terre Haute Sergeant Jason Brentlinger tells News 10 that John Johnson-Christian is safe after being found by the Kentucky State Police.

Kentucky State Police found the three at the Brookshire Hotel in Pikesville, Kentucky.

The suspects, Nicholas Runyon and April Bell, have also been arrested by the Kentucky State Police.  Their arrest warrants were for criminal confinement.

The family told News 10 that the boy's mother left to pick him up in Kentucky when she found he was safe.

According to Johnson, she let her ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Runyon, and his current girlfriend, April Bell, take her son to a birthday party on Tuesday, thinking he would return later.  However, the couple never return the child

News 10 spoke with Jessica Johnson on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, April Bell's father, Samuel McGranahan says he is disappointed in his daughter's actions.

""I don't care if she gets 10 days or 20 years. She deserves what she gets. I mean, it's my daughter, I love her I always have, but I don't condone anything like this. Never have," McGranahan said.
