VIGO CO., IND (WTHI) - Young women from around the Wabash Valley competed for a prestigious pageant title Saturday night.
Six contestants battled it out for the title of Miss Crossroads to America. This competition is a preliminary competition to Miss Indiana.
The young women ladies took part in several events Saturday afternoon, including an evening gown competition, interviews, and on stage questions.
Organizers say the contest is a great way for the ladies to showcase their talents.
2012 winner Miss Crossroads, Lauren Mnayrji said this has been one exciting year for her.
"This has been one of the best years for me so far, especially being involved in this Organization, and I would encourage it for all young women to get involved," said Mnayrji
Presley Moreland was named Miss Crossroads to America for 2013. Breanna Stuart was named miss Outstanding Teen.
