Meadows Manor held 15th Senior Prom

TERRE HAUTE, IND (WTHI) - With Valentines Day only a few days away, staff at the Meadows Manor East in Terre Haute held their senior prom.

On Sunday, the 15th annual event was very much like those high school prom years you may have been too as a kid.

Social Services & Activities Director Pam Clevenger was very happy to see the seniors enjoy themselves at the event.

Pam says some of the seniors may not have had a prom at all when they were younger.

Every year, staff set up a large party complete with flowers, cake and music.

They even crown a king and queen!

“This is really a community effort. Goodwill donates, lets us borrow some gowns for the ladies, so they’re all dressed up. The residents love it, the families love it,” Pam said

Pam says with fifteen years running, everyone looks forward for this special day.
