Man jumps into river to escape police in sub-zero temps

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Two men try and run from police and, believe it or not, one of them jumped into the Wabash River to escape.
At one point he was underneath the water under a fallen tree.
He was in the water approximately fifteen minutes when the weather outside was negative two degrees.
The police are reportedly still looking for the other man.
We have very few details as to why the men were running from police.
News 10 will follow up this story with the man's condition and why police were pursing him.
