LINTON, Ind. (WTHI) - A local school district will be back to normal Tuesday after starting the week off on a lockdown.
The precaution came after a Friday threat at the elementary school.
Linton Police are releasing very few details about the threat.
Parents were made aware of the lockdown Sunday.
Patrols around the schools included an officer at each school building all day long.
“If they’re not comfortable, if they don’t feel safe, they’re not going to be learning,” Linton-Stockton Superintendent Nock Karazsia said.
Some parents kept their students home Monday, even with the extra patrols.
