TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The new Terre Haute Children's Museum will open later this month, but the museum needs volunteers to make it happen.
The museum folks are looking for people to do everything from working the exhibit floor, to helping with building maintenance and cleaning.
"When the museum opens, we're hoping to have between 50 and 70 volunteers. We have opportunities for those who may want volunteer weekly or even once a month," Membership Volunteer Coordinator Jamie McDowell said.
Tuesday, the museum took volunteer applications from those who stopped by the new building.
They are still looking for more help. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, call the museum at 235-5548.
