Local house fire quickly doused

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute and Honey Creek Firefighters responded to a call of a house fire on the 700 block of S. 7th street in Terre Haute just before 4:00 p.m.

Luckily, they were able to contain the flames quickly.

The family was home at the time the fire started, but everyone made it out safely.

An investigation into a cause of the fire is underway at this hour.

News 10 will bring you more information as it becomes available.
