TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute's bravest getting some time in the limelight.

A local Firefighter and Author, Bill Berry has spent the last two years putting together a book about the Terre Haute Fire Department.

The book is filled with photographs and short stories ranging from fallen firefighters, to rescue missions, to firehouse pranks.

Berry says the book is a diverse read and is aimed at all audiences.

"There's just so many things that the fire department deal with and you know, the community doesn't really know about it," Author and Terre Haute Fire Captain Bill Berry said.

Books are only being sold on a pre-paid order basis.

To get your copy, contact Berry via email at bill.berry@terrehaute.in.gov .

The book is priced at $85.
