TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - One group meets throughout the year to make sure folks don't feel alone.
Good Cheer Club is a club for the blind in our community.
It meets once a month at different churches around the Wabash Valley.
Wednesday, it met at Unity Presbyterian Church in Terre Haute for dinner, games and conversation.
It's an opportunity to create fellowship among other blind resident and get them out of the house.
"People that I've met over the last 31 years. It's the fellowship and meeting nice people, and you couldn't ask for any better people than what we've got right here," Good Cheer Club President John Stroot said.
Good Cheer Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
The club is over 100 years old.
