TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Wabash Valley business giving kids a kick start to their education.

Crews at T Shirt 1 in Terre Haute spent Monday morning packing school supplies for needy children right here in the Wabash Valley, as well as in the Virgin Islands.

"One of the things you can see here in the local community, a lot of these kids are very underprivileged, they need things, you know, just to go to school," Kent Asbury said. "Any tool we can give to any kids to help them succeed in their educational process benefits us and everyone else in the community as well."

This is the second year T Shirt 1 has collected and donated school supplies and plan to continue doing it for years to come.
