TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A candidate for Indiana's governor visited Terre Haute Saturday.
Democrat John Gregg stopped by the Copper Bar Saturday afternoon.
It's one of his last stops before Tuesday's election.
Gregg is a Wabash Valley native.
He described his trip as coming "home."
Several folks were on hand to greet him.
"We have narrowed the gap. This race is a toss up with each passing day, as we're traveling the state, talking about jobs, drawing a clear distinction between us and the Pence, Mourdock ticket, we just really feel great," Indiana Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Gregg said.
Gregg told News 10 that he encourages all voters to look beyond the party label when considering who to vote for.
After Terre Haute, Gregg headed to Bloomington, then Plainfield, making his way to Indianapolis Sunday.
