CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana State Police have requested for drivers to be patient during delayed traffic on I-70.
Indiana State Police and an area fire department responded to call about a vehicle fire involving a semi-tractor trailer.
When emergency response crews arrived at the scene the discovered a semi-trailer whose brakes were on fire at around 10:20 a.m. Saturday.
The semi-trailer was stopped near the 8-mile-marker on I-70 heading eastbound in Clay County.
Luckily, no one was injured.
According to the Indiana State Police, both eastbound lanes on I-70 were closed for a few minutes.
It is currently down to one lane of traffic, as officials work to remove the semi from the roadway.
