TERRE HAUTE, Ind., (WTHI) - One group of Vigo County school students is raising in honor of their fallen friends.

Wednesday, students at North High School donated nearly $900.

Half of the money went to the American Heart Association in memory of fallen classmate, Tre Fletcher.

The other half of the donations went to The Angel Fund, in honor of Cam Taylor. The Angel Fun helps lower income children attend St. Patrick's Elementary and Middle School.

Student organizers wanted to remember the lives of their classmates, Tre Fletcher and Cameron Taylor.

Students say it's an honor to help the cause.

“To be able to do something and have it turn out as good as it did, it's just indescribable.  You feel good about yourself,” Jon Kiefer, a North student said.

Students raised the money by selling Angel Fund T-Shirts.
