TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Students are now able to get math and science help, thanks to a local university. Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology's Homework Hotline service is underway.

It allows students the chance to call in and receive free tutoring in math and science areas, from 7 to 10 ET.

This year, the institute is expanding it's student outreach services. They'll be starting what's called "Stem Busters".

It's a hands-on, after school program geared toward helping middle school students get a better understanding of math and science.

"We want to help people as much as we can and it's really awesome to know you've made an impact on someone else's life," Megan Hilderbrand from Homework Hotline said.

The number for Homework Hotline is 1-877-ASK-ROSE.
