TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The help for Haiti continues in the Wabash Valley.
People packed into the banquet center at Idle Creek in Terre Haute to find out how they can help the Haitian people.
The Mountain Top Ministries in Terre Haute organized the event to bring awareness of what really happened after the earthquake.
People heard from first hand accounts of the devastating tragedy.
In fact, the earthquake lasted only 14 seconds but killed nearly 430,000 people.
"There are so many people in Haiti right now who are in need," founder of Mountain Top Ministries Willem Charles said. "The goal is to, in this short time, how can you help the Haitian people help themselves."
