TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Vigo Schools are looking to create a culture of doing good deeds.
Wednesday at Dixie Bee Elementary, "Special People Performing Random Acts of Kindness" or SPPRAK, kicked off a new campaign.
It's called the SPPRAK pack wall. Here's how it works, students, teachers and staff write compliments about others. They place those compliments on the giant wall for others to see.
Those compliments are then given to the intended recipient. Organizers say it's a wonderful way to teach the power of giving to students.
"Whether it be little or small, anybody can do anything it doesn't cost any money to do this but they can show their appreciation to someone else," Robin Heng, the SPPRAK co-founder said.
The SPPRAK Pack Wall will soon be visible in all Vigo County Public Schools.
