TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - If you do to travel this weekend, chances are you're traveling by car. But you may now see a problem when you pull up to the pump

Gas prices plan to climb back up over the holiday weekend.

In fact, we took a price check around Terre Haute and within 30 minutes the gas price at 500 Express went from $2.64 to $2.75.

"A week ago I found it for $2.39," Terre Haute driver Kris Doan said. "It feels like they're taking advantage."

Other gas stations around town were posting $2.75, as well.

In fact, around the Wabash Valley you'll likely see a 10 cent increase.

"Everybody, every time always jacks up the prices on the holiday weekends," driver Nora Lewellyn-Kennedy said. "It doesn't seem right but it happens all the time."
