TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Frontier Communications is advising customers of a telemarketing campaign that is causing confusion.
Frontier customers in the Southwestern region of the state between (Terre Haute, Brazil, Crane, Ferdinand and Princeton) have reported that they have been receiving calls from American Broadband concerning the status of their account with Frontier Communications. The caller may imply that they are a part of Frontier and urge customers to make changes to their account.
Frontier Communications sells certain services to American Broadband under a wholesale relationship, but is not otherwise associated with the company. Frontier has not authorized contact with Frontier customers, and is not a partner in a telemarketing campaign with American Broadband.
Frontier’s reputation with customers in the communities it serves is very important. The company is taking steps to stop any misleading calls and offers regarding communication products, solutions and services.
In the event that consumers receive a call from a company implying that they are associated with Frontier Communications, please do not hesitate in contacting your local Frontier Communications office or contact our Customer Conversation Center at 1-800-921-8101 to verify the information.
