Former West Terre Haute police chief pleaded guilty

WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - One former West Terre Haute police chief pleaded guilty Thursday.; that's according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Former Chief Mark Arnold, of the West Terre Haute Police Department appeared in a federal court Thursday.

Arnold was charged with making a false statement to a federal firearms dealer.

U.S. Attorney Joe Hogsett plans to hold a press conference Friday, releasing more information.

News 10 plans to attend that press conference and will have the latest.
