TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Folks gathered in downtown Terre Haute Sunday morning to celebrate Veterans Day.
The chilly weather didn't stop the Veterans Day Parade from drawing crowds.
The parade kicked off at Wabash Avenue and 4th Street, making its way through downtown.
News 10 spoke to folks celebrating.
The holiday means something a little different to everyone.
"How many were injured, lost their lives and my father came home, and that was good, that was a special day, when we met the train," Arlene Luchsinger said.
Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett, Police Chief John Plasse, along with many veterans participated in the parade.
