Fire breaks out at local prison

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local prison catches fire.

Details are few at this time, but News 10 was told a fire started at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility just after 8:00pm Friday evening.

The fire began in the laundry room.

Three local fire departments were sent to the scene and were able to put out the blaze.

Officials tell us there were no injuries in the fire.
