Feather Creek to be widened soon

CLINTON, Ind. (WTHI) - One Wabash Valley Creek with flood problems is getting closer to being fixed.

GBS Inc. won a contract for over one-million dollars to widen Feather Creek in Clinton, Ind.

The company plans to realign over 3,000 feet of the waterway.

Federal, city and state funding will all help front the bill.

The project is expected to begin soon.

Officials hope to have it finished within a year.
